Ronke Martins-Taylor

Ronke is the Divisional Director Youth and Commissioning at the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, and is a trustee of UST.

Ronke has more than 20 years public service experience having held leadership roles in probation, youth justice and in local government Children's Services. She has extensive senior management experience of delivering high quality services to vulnerable children and young people within multi-disciplinary settings.

She is an experienced commissioner who has led in local authority Children’s Services on commissioning, contract management and the delivery of operations across a range of services including school meals, Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, substance misuse commissioning, Youth Justice and youth service provision, children's participation, music services, drama services, careers, the Troubled Families programme, and management of Pupil Referral Units.

Ronke is committed to the development of services that achieve the best outcomes for children and young people. She ensures through her work that the voice of service users is heard by commissioners and professionals so that services and practices can be adapted to best meet the needs of children and young people.
