Year 13 Success at RGTS as 75% of Students Prepare Themselves for Life at University
In unprecedented times and faced with the adversity of COVID 19, students at Royal Greenwich Trust School celebrate their A Level and BTEC results, reaping the rewards of their resilience and hard work, embodying the ethos of the school.
Royal Greenwich Trust School, based in the heart of Greenwich, has continued the upward trajectory of results facilitating 69% already accepted into university, with 6% awaiting final confirmation.
"All students in our 2020 cohort are to be congratulated on their achievements and it is fantastic to know that they all have next steps in place in terms of their education or employment with many of them going on to study at university, including our partner institutions. We wish them all well for the future and look forward to hearing about their future endeavours. My thanks to the staff and parents for the guidance and support they have provided for these young people, particularly in the last few months during the lockdown and school closure period."
- Caroline Longhurst, Headteacher
Our students said:
“I will miss RGTS and all the most of the staff. The school helped me a lot”.

“There were many ups and downs at school, but they stuck with me and always supported me”
As an expanding 11-18 provider within the borough, the Royal Greenwich Trust School has recently benefited from the major financial investment made by the Local Authority of 13.4 million pounds. This has enabled the school to have a second wing added onto the existing building which features new classrooms, a large lecture theatre with retractable seating, a food and nutrition specialist teaching space, a multiuse atrium area and a four-court sports hall. Sixth Form students across all subjects now benefit from the excellent independent study facilities within the brand new sixth form centre.
Enrolment is still open for students wishing to join us in Year 12.
