We are delighted to share that St Paul's Way Trust School (SPW) has been selected to work in partnership with the London East Music Hub as a Lead School for Music. Following an application to THAMES to support the development of the music provision across the borough.

This recognition reflects SPW’s strong practice and commitment to high quality music education. As a Lead School, they will play a key role in supporting other schools through hosting visits and observations, sharing effective practice, and leading professional development opportunities for teachers, including early career teachers and new subject leads.

The school will also contribute to wider priorities such as strengthening curriculum music, increasing access to instrumental learning, and supporting ensembles and progression pathways for pupils.

Through this role, St Paul’s Way will help to build a collaborative network that amplifies youth voice and deepens community engagement in music across the borough.

This achievement highlights the strength of music education within our Trust and reflects our mission to provide transformational education, creating meaningful opportunities that inspire young people and enable them to thrive.
