Students from St Paul's Way Trust School recently delivered an exciting DrumWorks performance in their school playground, showcasing confidence, teamwork and musical talent to a large audience of peers.

As part of their weekly sessions with DrumWorks, students have been developing their skills through a programme that empowers young people to create their own music, build confidence and grow as leaders.

Working with hundreds of young people across east London, DrumWorks places creativity and collaboration at the heart of its approach.

This performance was particularly special. After rehearsing on the same day, students took the bold step of performing live in front of the entire school community, demonstrating focus and resilience. The showcase was further enhanced through a collaboration with Sarah Bonnel School, who joined them in creating a high energy and engaging experience for all.

Some SPW students reflected positively on the opportunity, with one sharing, “I learned that even though there are loads of people watching all you need to do is keep playing and you will succeed.”
