St Pauls Way Primary recently hosted a joyful summer fair that brought together pupils, families and neighbours for a celebration filled with creativity, energy and community spirit. From the perspective of University Schools Trust, the day stood out as a powerful example of how creative experiences can enrich learning and strengthen connections across our schools.

The playground was transformed into a lively festival space, with sponge the teacher, raffles, photo opportunities, a bouncy castle and an impressive range of food representing the diverse cultures within the community. Face painting, hena art, fishing for rubber ducks, lucky dip prizes and many other activities added to the excitement, creating an atmosphere that kept families smiling throughout the afternoon.

At the heart of the event were the pupil performances, where children confidently played musical pieces including piano in front of their families. These moments captured the essence of the Trust wide Creative Artsphere initiative.

Creative Artsphere is a festival of creativity across UST schools, bringing together workshops, performances, exhibitions and artistic experiences that support creative learning, wellbeing and personal growth. This first year marks the beginning of a Trust wide identity that will continue to grow and inspire pupils in future years.

The summer fair was organised by the SPWP Student Council and the parent community Friends of St Pauls Way. Their dedication helped create a warm, welcoming and memorable event, and we are deeply grateful to our families, pupils and local communities for their support.

This celebration reflects the Trust mission of providing transformational education for all because Creative Artsphere opens doors to new experiences, nurtures confidence and broadens horizons, ensuring every child can discover their potential through meaningful creative opportunities.
